Sometimes the color is displayed evenly sometimes it has an uneven appearance. The problem appears mostly around the perimeter of the screen, including the toolbars. The middle of the screen looks to be normally colored for the most part. When I drag my cursor onto the Up/Down vertical bar on the far right, it turns from pale blue to a pale purple however, when I left-click the bar returns to pale blue. For example, the two thin horizontal bars at the bottom of the screen - just above the Start Button - are both a pale pink all the way across.
I am experiencing an annoying pinkish/purplish discoloration with Windows XP, and I can't figure out why. I have a problem which is kind of difficult to describe, but I'll try.
